Upstairs - The accomodation
Open a door in the living room and climb the stairs. At the top a panelled hall area has doors to a well-equipped bathroom with twin washbasins and corner bath with shower, a second washroom with shower, the upstairs toilet, the master bedroom and a study.
A passageway leads down a few steps to bedrooms 2, 3, 4 and 5. All the bedrooms feature polished wooden floors, traditional panelled wood ceilings and are centrally heated. All the rooms also have additional electric heating for that odd cold night in the late spring or autumn, however, as the house has solid stone walls and is well-insulated, we suspect these will get little use.
A trap-door above the steps, allows access to the attic which could be converted to a playroom or studio if desired.
